From the Bandsintown for Artists dashboard, select any artist then click Add Event at the top of the page to open a new event form. Input all details at once in Single-Page Mode, or step by step in Multi-Step Mode.
Input all relevant information, choosing from pre-populated choices in drop-down boxes where relevant.
PLEASE NOTE: Only artists with Bandsintown pages can be included on the event lineup. Adding an artist to the event lineup will not add the event to that artist's page. The event needs to be added to each artist's page separately.
If a festival is not listed, click Add Your Festival and input the relevant information to submit the event for review.
If a venue is not listed, click Add a Custom Location at bottom of the dropdown list and enter the details manually. Click Submit when finished and the new venue will be linked to the new event.
If you play at this venue often, click Contact Us at the bottom of the page to submit the venue for consideration for Bandsintown’s database, which will make it permanently available for selection in the future.
Ensure your event is linked to a specific venue with a known location, so Bandsintown can notify users nearby and recommend the event to relevant users in that area. An event without a complete location will not be considered by Bandsintown’s recommendation algorithms.
Once all information has been added, choose to Save as a Draft, Schedule to Publish, or Publish. Saved drafts will be available for editing in Drafts. Bandsintown will automatically notify all users following that artist, unless the toggle for Notify my Followers is switched to Off.
How to add a livestream event
Livestream events can be added in the same way other events are added by following the instructions here and choosing Online instead of Venue on the Location section.
If your event is part of a streaming festival, select Festival Event, select the festival from the drop-down list, and the streaming link and streaming timezone will be auto-populated based on the information on file for the festival. If a festival is not listed, click Add Your Festival and input the relevant information to submit the event for review.

You can find your unique artist ID in the URL of your Bandsintown page: https://www.bandsintown.com/a/1025408. In this example, you would use "ID_1025408" rather than the artist name "The Head and The Heart."
