AG1 may indirectly help with weight loss due to its ability to reduce inflammation, but AG1 is not a weight loss product. No significant research suggests that taking AG1 alone will help you lose weight.

Not only does AG1 replace the need to take a multivitamin, but it also eliminates the need for a multimineral, prebiotics, probiotics, stress adaptogens, energy booster, daily immune support, superfoods blend, greens powder, mushroom complex and digestive aids.

Everything else in AG1 is of questionable benefit at best. Inulin is a source of dietary fibre, and fibres are good overall, but inulin can give you gas especially if you have IBS.

The best AG1 alternatives when it comes to health goals include Live it Up Super Greens, Vibrant Health Green Vibrance, and Dr. Mercola Organic Fermented Greens. Others may include Amazing Grass Greens Blend, Organifi Green Juice, and Bloom Greens.

In addition to these potential risks, some users of AG1 have reported experiencing digestive issues such as an upset stomach, bloating, and diarrhea, which might be attributed to the inclusion of probiotics or inulin in the powder.

While others contain similar types of ingredients, most don't contain nearly as many. Athletic Greens is made with 75 high-quality ingredients, some of which are organic. Ingredients range from superfood powders to probiotics and digestive enzymes. The sheer number of ingredients contributes to its higher price tag.
