One of the biggest conflicts in Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3 is the ownership of Silvanus Grove and whose lives are worth risking. Goblins are preparing to raid the grove and some innocent parties are stuck inside. There are three different people you can side with, and siding with some may end in bloodshed.

Each choice offers different amounts of content and story. What happens here may be crucial for what comes next in Act 2 of the game. Your actions always have consequences. When looking at everything from a moral perspective, there are many points worth considering to determine who deserves more of a chance at surviving the Goblin attack.

Choices have consequences in open-world RPGs such as Baldur's Gate 3. Save-scumming is almost crucial because mistakes can easily be me every step of the way. It is helpful to understand what can happen if you choose certain options so that you can play the way you prefer or so that you can get that special reward.
What Happens If You Side With The Tieflings?
The Tieflings are threatened by two parties; the Goblins and the Druids. The Druids will cast out the Tieflings if you do not make a decision fast enough. The Tieflings will be left to their own devices against Goblin-infested roads and will die.
Once the Goblins declare that they will make their move on the grove, you are on a time limit.
Once the Druids seal off the grove, you won't be able to enter.
You can help the Tieflings by persuading the Druids to stop the ritual or by killing Kagha. Either way, the Goblins are still at large, and the Tieflings need them gone before they can make their way to Baldur's Gate.
All three Goblin leaders must die for the Tieflings to have safe passage to Baldur's Gate.
If you successfully protect the Tieflings from both the Druids and the Goblins, they will pack up and leave the Druid Grove. You will be able to meet Zevlor at the grove, who will insist that everyone celebrate at your camp for the night.
Once you have your camp party, the Tieflings will be gone, and you won't be able to finish up any loose ends.
What Happens If You Side With The Druids?
If you side with the Druids, you will either have to kill the Tieflings or somehow convince them to leave the grove before the ritual is complete. To make them leave the grove, you will have to clear the Goblin Camp.
It doesn't matter how you deal with the Tieflings, the Druids just do not want them in the grove.
If you initiate this quest along with the Goblin Camp, you shouldn't take too many Long Rests.
You may return to the grove with the ritual complete and not be able to finish quests or save the Tieflings.
What Happens If You Side With The Goblins?
You can enter the Goblin Camp on good terms, pretending you are a follower of the Absolute due to your Ilithid worm. Upon doing so, you can speak to the leaders and agree to take down Druid Grove with them.
One of the benefits of siding with the Goblins is that you can get a romance scene with Minthara.
If you side with the Goblins, you will have to join them in a raid through the Druid Grove. With the Goblin army and leaders by your side, you must wipe out the grove. This means killing all the Tieflings and all of the Druids.
Much like the ending where you save the Tieflings, you will get to celebrate your war victory at camp. All the Goblins and Minthara will join you for the celebration. At this moment, you may sleep with Minthara.
