Evaluation Criteria
For ground troops, attack, HP, defense, and march size are all important bytheir nature.
Therefore, generals with high values in these 4 areas are ranked higher.
The following 2 types are listed below, but the rankings are sorted by evaluation 1.
- Evaluation 1 – Considers only Buffs
- Add up the percentages of the 5 types of buffs: attack, defense, HP, march size, and rally capacity.
- Evaluation 2 – Considers Buffs & Debuffs
- If a general has a debuff, its percentage is added to the score of Evaluation 1.
- If debuffs for all types of troops, the debuff value x4.
Two types of rankings
Some buffs that each general has are not valid if they are used as reinforcements to an ally’s castle or if they are made defenders of their own castle. (For more information:Buff / Debuff – Basic Guide)
In other words, some generals have “march/rally and “Reinforcements/Defenders” have very different performances.
For this reason, the ranking is divided between these 2 types.
Buffs by Skillbook
Basically, it is assumed that by using an assistant, the following 6 types are attached.
Attack, Defense, HP, Speed, March size, March Speed (Lv4 for each).
In other words, it is basically assumed that there will be no difference depending on the skill book.
However, if a general has a skill book that cannot be added, it is excluded from the buff value.
A) for March & Rally
Overall Rating
For when marching or rallying, I recommend Miltiades, Totila, Suchet.
Next are Frigg, Lu Xun, Ludwig, Sweyn Forkbeard, Aurelian, Pyrrhus, Elise.
Frigg, Sweyn, Pyrrhus are slightly inferior to the others, but their strength is that they are almost never weakened when they reinforce their allies’ castles or when they are wall defenders. The others are greatly weakened.
For non-paying, Lu Xun and Pyrrhus.
They are not available at the tavern, but are available at the Trial of Knights event (Blood of Ares consuming return event). (as of 8/23/2024.) However, it is unclear how long he will be available.

Strength when marching is about the same as Totila.
Score 1 values are slightly inferior to Totila.
Score 2 is slightly higher than Totila’s.
However, unlike Totila, he is hardly weakened during reinforcements or when he is a wall defender, as most of the buffs are basic buffs.

He would be below Totila when sorted by score 1, but overall, I personally feel that Miltiades is better than Totila.

She is a basic buff type and has a very high evaluation score despite the fact that she cannot attach an attack skill book.
Compared to other top generals, she has relatively low attack and high defense and HP.
All of the buffs are “basic buff”, so he is never weakened when he is used as a reinforcement for an ally’s castle or as a defender of a wall.

It seems to be a higher version of Scipio and Soult.
Despite the fact that he cannot add a skill book for attack, his total buff value is almost the same as Scipio’s.
However, unlike Scipio, all of the buffs are “basic buff”, so the fact that it is not weakened at all when it is used as a reinforcement for an ally’s castle or as a defender of a wall is a big advantage.
Soult is also a “basic buff” type, but Turenne’s total buff value is higher.

They perform significantly worse when they are not “attacking (marching)”, i.e., when they are reinforcements (alliance member’s city) or defense generals on wall.
If you are using them as your main general,some players may need to train a separate general for reinforcements.
Note – The following cases are no problem. Attack buffs (march buffs) are applied.
– When participating in a rally / starting a rally by yourself
– When sending reinforcements / defending / attacking an occupied building on the map (Portal, Temple, etc.),

Their skills and specialties are always fully demonstrated, not just when attacking.
Therefore, it is also excellent when used as a Reinforcement & Defense general. (Reference:Best of Defense General (Wall))
If your defense general isn’t growing up enough, it’s good enough to use them in a dual role. (Although it is troublesome to put it on and off the defense general each time)

If you look at just the basic skills, he seems to be a good ground PvP (attack) general, but assuming the specialty is maxed out, he is not a good PvP (attack) general because the 4th specialty is only active when he is a defense general or reinforcing allies castle.
