you guys are both right about the hood hinges and sterring colum, but since im going to replace the floor boards anyway do you think the angle and shape of the firewall is the same so i could just cut in the hole for the colum. or cut a section out of a regular pickup cab and weld it in?.........about the inner fendr well mounting, I would just fab in the mounting holes and brackets for pickup style fenderwells in there stock location.......other than that stuff do you think it can be done???.is the hole in the firewall for the brakes in a different location, and is the pedel hangers under the dash similar or maybe even the same?? Im not afraid of the work and ive done fab work before, i have a small background in body work , Im a major bumpside fan, I have a 70 f250 camper special ranger xlt that ive had since I was 16, ameture restored it, then drove it 7 years straight, pennsylvania winters and all, remember those high school years ?? its been through a lot and suvived..., a 70 custom, daliy driver 2wd 6cyl 3 on tree, 2 high boy parts trucks, and this crewcab ive had sitting for about 5 years just wating for this.....Id really like to post some pictures, but Im a slow learner when it comes to this computer stuff, soon as I figure it out I will post some.........thanks, zack
