What is cardless cash?

Cardless Cash is a Mobile Banking service that allows you to withdraw cash from an ATM without using your card. With Cardless Cash, you can simply generate a 6-digit cash code in our Mobile Banking App and use it to withdraw cash at any St.George, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA, Westpac or select Westpac Group partner ATMs. Find your nearest ATM.

How it works

Step 1.
Open theSt.George App and tap 'Cardless Cash' on the home screen.
Complete the one time set up by accepting T&Cs and complete the Secure Code SMS Authentication.

Step 2.
Then select an eligible transaction account to withdraw money from, the amount and select 'get cash code'.

Find your nearest ATM, select Cardless withdrawal and enter your cash code.

  • You'll need to be registered for Internet Banking and sign in to the St.George App to set up Cardless Cash and generate a cash code.
  • Cash codes expire as soon as they have been used or after 3 hours.
  • Cash codes can be cancelled by selecting ‘Delete code’ from the cash code screen.
  • Cardless Cash will show on your statement as ‘Cardless ATM withdraw’

Who can use it?

Cardless Cash is available to St.George customers who are 18 years or older, have the St.George App and who have an eligible personal transaction account2 with a linked debit card.You can also use Cardless Cash if your card has been lost or stolen, or if you have not yet received or activated your card. Can’t remember your login details? Find your Customer Access Number or reset your security code and password online before you get started.

Get the app

Download the St.George App onto your iPhone through the App Store or your AndroidTM device through Google PlayTM.
Use your camera on your smart phone and hover over the relevant QR code or click the relevant link below the QR code.
Scanning the QR code or clicking the App Store link will direct you externally from the St.George website.

1. Available on eligible St.George transaction accounts with a linked debit card. Limit of 3 withdrawal transactions per day applies, subject to $500 daily withdrawal limit and $1,000 weekly withdrawal limit. Only available at Westpac Group or select Westpac Group partner ATMs in Australia. To access Cardless cash on your mobile you must be registered to use Internet Banking and download the St.George Mobile Banking App.You must be 18 years or older to use Cardless Cash.

2. Cardless Cash is only available on the above accounts if the account is active and is not subject to an account block/restriction. An account may be subject to a block/restriction for a number of reasons including bankruptcy and account disputes.
