Beginning with a strange scene, Seb will wake up in the hospital. Exit and use yours Keys and level up. There are no items to pick up this time. Once you are done, head towards the mirror at the end of the hall. When you do, someone will talk to you from inside the room on the left. Speak to them and after the nurse will lead you back to the main chamber. There will be a picture above the missing person board. Get close to it and stare at it for some time and Ruvik will appear.

This will push you into a different version of the hospital. There will be a Newspaper on the nurses counter now. Grab it, then head to your personal room. When you try to open the door, you will be thrown into a new area. Walk forward and Ruvik will appear again, which will drop you into the normal version of this forest. Before going forward, look right and grab the Map Fragment. There is also a small path here that leads to a box and some Green Gel. Also turn around at the begining of the level there is some gel and barrels to smash.

Once you have them run down the path to the gate. Explore this courtyard to find some items and boxes. In the dead tree to the right of the main door is a statue. Shoot it to obtain a Key.

Once you have it and are done outside, enter the house. There is a health item to your left, and several doors. We suggest heading through the blood marked door next to the metal one that closed. Inside you can find a Personal Document. Once you have it, jump in the mirror. There is a Newspaper in the usual spot, and a Missing Person Poster on the board. Once you have them, do whatever else you need to, then leave through a mirror.

Exit the bathroom and head right into the dining hall. On the table is a Document. There are also some Green Gel on one of the desks. Go through the next door and in the second room will be a bomb, disarm it and in the third room are two easy enemies. At some point, the whole area will turn blue and Ruvik will appear. The time at which this happens seems to be random. When it does, you simply need to run around for 30 seconds to a minute, dodging him. He will eventually give up and disappear. And if you don't feel like running around and dodging him, simply hide underneath the table in the dining room and he will give up a couple seconds after he enters the room.

Once gone, head back through the area. In the room that had the enemies in it is another bomb, and some items you can grab. In the room after are some racks. If you look to the top, you can see a statue. Shoot it to obtain a Key.

With the key in hand, head to the brain that is on display. Listen to the tape, and as you do, look to your left. There is a diagram. As you listen, you will hear him say F-7. This means you need to probe that part. Move the probe around and activate it. This can be tricky to nail down, but eventually you will get it into the right spot.

Once you get it, the red vial will drain. This will open one of the three locks on the main door in the front foyer of the house. When you go to leave, ghosts will play out a scene before you. After, head back to the foyer of the house, and go upstairs. On your way back to the foyer, some enemies might try to jump you, so have your pistol ready!

Head through the large double doors upstairs to find a room with various items in it. Of note, is the item to the left. It is a dial for a safe you will come across later. Also, if you look up at the skylight, you will spot a statue. Shoot it to obtain a Key.

Also keep in mind that while you explore, Ruvik may appear again. Much like the first time, you simply need to avoid him for a certain period of time. Once done, leave the room and go right. You will enter the library. There are enemies here, so be prepared to sneak, or blast them with a gun. There are a few items laying around, and a bomb you can disarm for parts.

Head up the ladder and you will find a couple more bad guys. If you are lucky, one will have an axe, that you can then firmly plant into the other enemy. There is also another dial up here, along with a second painting. Take note of how many people appear in it. Once you have the dial, jump down and exit the library.

When you come down, more enemies will walk into the room. Deal with them, then exit into the hallway. To the right of the exit is some Green Gel and other items, as well as a body you can burn if you have extra matches. Enter the first door on your left to find a bedroom. This is also where Ruvik attacked us for the third time, he may do the same for you!

There is a Document on the table, as well as some bullets on the chair. Enter the room beside this one to find more items, most important of which is the health kit. The large health items not only fully heal you, but increase your total health. When you exit, check the wall to the right of the door as there is a bomb you can disarm.

Now head down the hall, and when you turn right, enter the next door on your right to find some items and a Map Fragment. When you leave this bathroom and try to walk to the end of the hall, the doors behind you will open and you will be sucked towards them. Shoot the red light at the top to stop them, or else you will suffer a terrible fate.

Go back down the hall and enter the room. There is a statue on the dresser that will reward you with a Key, as well as other items scattered around.

Once you've cleaned out the room, crawl through the fireplace. You will find some Green Gel and another brain. This time you will need to place a probe into the Fear area of the brain. This one is a little easier to find, as it's on the back of the brain.

After getting the probe in place, walk back through the fire place and more ghosts will appear in the bedroom. After the ghost leaves, exit the room and go left. A Green Gel jar will be found on the floor, and eventually the hall leads into another room. More items can be found here, along with an Audio Tape. Take note that the bodies on the ground may get up, and when you go to leave the room, a guy will burst through the door, although a quick shot at the bomb on the wall will solve that issue.

Exit the room and head downstairs. The second lock will open on the main door. There is only one door left to go through, so enter the door to the right of the locked one. Inside the next room is more items for you to snatch up. There is a hall to the left, and a door. Enter the door and back stab the enemy, then loot the room of all it's goodies.

Exit that room, go down the hall and enter the door on the left. There are more items here, but also a bomb. It is hidden behind the boxes, so make sure to not set it off. Once you have all the items, leave and continue down the hall to the piano room. Here you will spot some Harpoon bolts, and a very bloody painting with a Document in front of it. Place the two dials into the safe and turn the top to 11 and the bottom to 2.

When you do, the door will open and beyond is the third brain. This probe can be tough as you must get it in the Hope area. The easiest way is to look at the brain, and you will see it already has three probes in it. Move yours down so it is below the top most probe, and is slightly higher than the bottom most one. The picture above demonstrates where it needs to go. Once you have it, the red vial will drain, unlocking the large door in the foyer.

Leave this room and another scene with ghosts will play out. Once it is over, walk down the hall and try to leave, but when you do, enemies will appear. One will be armed with a gun, which will be a recurring trend starting from here on out, so always be cautious of common enemies as they begin to carry various weapons.

Enter the large door that will now be unlocked, and run down the hall. Eventually Ruvik will appear and teleport you to a room with a ghost in it. When you approach, the ghost will fade away. Follow it down the hall and through the door. A series of flashbacks will occur, and eventually Ruvik will change into a man made of blood. You can't fight him, so run.

Going through the next door, the room will expand and fill with wires. Crawl around them, as hitting even one will kill you. Once you reach the other side, go to the hallway. It will be blocked by a mannequin, but as you get close, you will be dumped into another new area.

Walk down the path and it will again change. Now you must navigate a cage maze. There is only one correct path, but as you walk walls will drop down, forcing you to circle back and find the correct way. Some walls have locks on them you need to smash to proceed. Unlike other running sequences, contact with the boss won't result in instant death, but it's still advised you do this quickly, as he does hurt a lot and if you get low, he will one shot you.

Eventually you will reach then end, and have to sprint past the collapsing faces. When you do, you will exit into the same room you have seen several times, although this time there is a Map Fragment on the desk. Grab it, then walk down the hallway and through the door.

Open the door and you will be dropped into a field. Head towards the barn and walk around it to grab some items. Once ready, head inside.

When you enter the barn, you will see the ghosts of Ruvik and his sister. Eventually the barn will be lit in flame. Once the cutscenes end, turn left and activate the switches. The pulley will move the elevator over, and the lever will drop it down so you can get in it. Once in the elevator, turn around and shoot the lever so it will raise you up. Before going to the window, push the hay bails aside that are to the right of the window, as there is a Key behind it. Now try to exit and you will be thrown back in by the blood man.

Blood Boss

This boss is fairly straight forward. He will summon in several weaker enemies. You just need to kill several of them to finish the boss off. This can be done a few ways. You can drop one with bullets, then lure the others nearby and burn the body to light all of them on fire. Since these are weaker enemies, a single rifle round to the head will also one shot them in most cases.

Whatever you desired method, after killing several, the barn will collapse, and Sebastian will be dropped into the hallway of the mansion. Walk down it and through the door and in the next room, shimmy behind the bookcase. Once you do, it will shut and the chapter will end.
