What is the best troop to take out Clan Castle troops? ›

A good all-around troop which attacks against clan castle troops is the wizard. These guys can easily get rid of clan castle troops. Try to sprinkle some archers here and there.

In guard mode, troops housed inside will defend the player's village from attacks, whilst in sleep mode, troops housed inside will not do so. The latter mode can be useful to save Clan Castle troops for attacking, especially in Clan Wars.

2 x Ice Golem, 1 x Baby Dragon - Ice Golems in the defending Clan Castle are very effective at slowing down an attacking force. If your Clan Castle is placed deep within your village, it will ensure the attacking troops are in range of multiple defenses while they are frozen.

In friendly clan wars, you get to pick your opponent clan. Like regular friendly battles, troops and spells aren't consumed (with the exception of attacking Clan Castle troops and spells), and also no resource or Clan XP rewards are given.

The Super Minion is a Super Troop based on the Minion. It can be unlocked by boosting the Minion when the Minion is at least level 8. Boosting the Minion requires 25,000 Dark Elixir or a Super Potion, and doing so allows the Minion to be boosted for 3 days.

The treasury capacity is based on your Town Hall and Clan level. If your Treasury is full and you are rewarded with more resources, the overflow resources will be lost. To use the resources you must "collect" them. This will send the resources directly to your regular storages.

The Freeze Spell is used to temporarily disable defenses and/or ground and air troops from the enemy Clan Castle within a small radius. Until the spell's duration finishes, the affected enemy units will neither move nor attack (or heal, in the case of a Healer being frozen).

Using Raid Medals to self-donate will fill your request with the highest maximum allowed level. You can access this self-donation screen by clicking on a new button when you tap on the Clan Castle or the Clan Banner next to the path that donated Troops travel down next to the Trader.

Only 3% of resources inside the Clan Castle can be stolen, as opposed to at least 4% from other forms of resource storage. If you have a low amount of resources in your storages, it is better to keep any loot you get in your Treasury there, because you will then have less loot available for attackers.

As defending Clan Castle troops, Headhunters are effective against attackers' heroes, including the Grand Warden, regardless of whether he is set to Ground or Air mode.

When should I rebuild my Clan Castle? ›

Before you can partake in any Clan action, you must rebuild the Clan Castle! In your village you'll find an old, abandoned Clan Castle. Tap on it and select "Rebuild." It will cost you 10,000 in Gold. To be able to hold this much Gold, you must be Town Hall level 3 and have your storages updated.

The Dragon Rider is not the best choice as a Clan Castle troop, as it can only attack a single target at a time, which makes it easy to overwhelm with hordes of units. However, it's high hitpoints means that it can take a while to kill, depending on the army the attacker is using.

Note that using the Lightning Spell on the Town Hall, Clan Castle or resource storages does no damage to them. Lightning Spells can also be used as pseudo-Wall Breakers if necessary. Often your troops will have partially damaged a Wall during a raid before being wiped out by the defenses.

Sure, you're probably think that air defense is the most important defense to defend against this kind of raid. It sure is, but archer towers are very key as well. Bases have way more archer towers than air defenses, so upgrading those archer towers will be more productive than upgrading those air defenses.

In the worst-case scenario, where you cannot find such an exposed building at all, use a Giant to help draw out the Clan Castle troops. Deploy them as far away as possible from the base to assure that the Giant survives as long as possible to make the Clan Castle troops move out.

Clan Castle Troops are deployed in a specific order: Troops with the lowest housing appear first. If housing space is equal, a Troop is selected randomly. If several levels of the same troop are in the Castle, the lowest level troops appear first.

Raged Barbarian is the first troop that players can unlock in the Builder Base. It is a powerful troop that also has a special Rage ability, which helps increase its damage for the first few seconds.
