Elden Ring: How to Duplicate Remembrances
Elden Ring: Which Remembrances Should You Duplicate
Remembrances are Consumable Items in Elden Ring that are awarded upon defeating a variety of bosses, and each one can be exchanged for either Runes or equipment. A Remembrance can be exchanged for only one of those rewards, though, forcing players to pick just one to pursue. Alternatively, fans can claim all the rewards by engaging with Elden Ring's Remembrance duplication mechanic, and this guide explains how that is done and highlights the Remembrances that are worth replicating.
Players who plan to pursue NG+ playthroughs of Elden Ring need not be overly concerned about Remembrance duplication, as they can ultimately obtain all them in multiples. That said, those players may still find the recommendations provided by this guide helpful, as they can be used to determine which Remembrances to duplicate first.

Elden Ring: How to Duplicate Remembrances
Players who want to duplicate a Remembrance must simply enter one of the game's Walking Mausoleums and interact with the altar that is found inside. For those fans who are unclear about where to find those mobile structures, this guide to Elden Ring's Walking Mausoleum locations should prove quite helpful, and it is worth noting that a Mausoleum can perform just one duplication.
The Remembrances that come from Shardbearers (Remembrance of the Grafted , Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen , Remembrance of the Starscourge , Remembrance of the Omen King , Remembrance of the Blasphemous , Remembrance of the Rot Goddess , and Remembrance of the Blood Lord ) can only be duplicated at Walking Mausoleums with bells, of which there are five.
Elden Ring: Which Remembrances Should You Duplicate
To begin, it is important to emphasize that the reason to duplicate a Remembrance is that doing so makes it possible to claim both of the Remembrance's associated equipment rewards. As such, players should look to duplicate Remembrances that can be traded to Enia, the Finger Reader in Elden Ring's Roundtable Hold for two desirable rewards.
To determine which Remembrances fulfill that criteria, players must first consider their builds. This is because the equipment rewards that are associated with Remembrances are not useful across every playstyle, as their requirements and effects vary wildly. Once a player has characterized their build, they can use the following list to identify the Remembrance that they should duplicate:
- Strength Builds: Remembrance of the Starscourge (Starscourge Radahn )
- Intelligence Builds: Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen (Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon )
- Faith Builds: Remembrance of the Lichdragon (Lichdragon Fortissax )
- Strength & Faith Builds: Remembrance of the Black Blade (Maliketh, the Black Blade )
Players that peruse this list are sure to note that it does not cover every possible type of build in Elden Ring. This is due to the fact that only the listed build types have Remembrances with two exciting rewards. It is thus recommended that fans who are running an unlisted build, such as one with a Dexterity focus, simply duplicate some of the listed Remembrances, as doing so will put them in a good position if they ultimately decide to respec to one of the listed builds.
Alternatively, players with an unlisted build could opt to duplicate Remembrances with high Rune values in order to expedite their leveling. The Remembrance of the Blasphemous , which is earned upon defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy , is particularly good for this approach, as it sells for 50,000 Runes. That said, there are many ways to farm Runes in Elden Ring, and players should only use their Remembrance duplication for Rune acquisition if they truly have no interest in any of their reward sets.
