Is Fast and Furious 11 happening? ›

Even though we know it's coming, Fast & Furious 11 hasn't started filming, so there's no footage to show you yet. With the likely release delay, we won't see anything until late 2025. Fast X Part 2 will be released in cinemas on April 4, 2025.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, Fast and Furious movies in order are as follows: The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, Fast & Furious 6, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, F9: The Fast Saga and Fast X.

It was based around characters seemingly unrelated to the main crew of the first two movies, mostly because the studio couldn't get any of them involved in the project. For this reason, it was retooled to make it stand out more, focusing more on racing than previous entries.

While there are currently ten mainline installments to the Fast & Furious franchise (with more on the horizon), the additions of Better Luck Tomorrow and Hobbs & Shaw expanded this franchise to 12 films. But that's not all!

Fast and Furious 11 is facing a release date delay to Summer 2026 due to strikes, with director Louis Leterrier confirming the sequel will not be hitting its April 4, 2025 date. Leterrier also confirms that filming starts in Fall 2025 after finishing a horror movie in September.

Fast & Furious 12 is the twelfth and final film in the Fast & Furious franchise. Set to be the third part of a trilogy beginning with Fast X, the film will test the limits of the Fast Family as they head out on one last ride.
