Academicadvising for students is handled through the student’s major department (or minor department if applicable) after the student has received formal acceptance to The Graduate College. This method of advisem*nt ensures that students will receive sound academicadvice from faculty in their chosen field of study. Students must adhere to program-specific policies and procedures listed in departmental handbooks and may wish to discuss these policies and procedures with their graduate program advisor.
