The Province of New Brunswick has two main programs: New Brunswick Express Entry Stream and New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream. Each of these programs has different requirements.

New Brunswick Express Entry Stream

Eligibility to Apply

If you determine that you are eligible in thisprogram, you might be eligible to apply for nomination through the province of New Brunswick. Once you received your positive nomination, you will receive an additional 600 points under your Express Entry Profile.

New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream

Eligibility to Apply

  • You intend to reside in New Brunswick.

  • You received a genuine offer of employment from an employer.

  • You must have at least one year of work experience, in the last five, related to the job offer.

  • You must be between 19-55 years of age.

  • You must have scored at least CLB 4on an English or French test.

  • Your employer is willing to support the application.

  • You must, at a minimum, have a Canadian secondary (high school) diploma or a foreign high school diploma equal to a Canadian credential.

If you determine that you are eligible in oneprogram under the Employer Job Offer Category, you might be eligible to apply for nomination through the province of Ontario. Once you received your positive nomination, you will need to apply for permanent resident status under the Federal Provincial Nominee program.
