Satisfaction Reward Traits and Reward Potions can be purchased with Satisfaction when playing the game. You may buy an unlimited number of these traits assuming you have the Satisfaction Points (SP) to pay for them. Satisfaction is earned by fulfilling a Sim's Whims (shown with thought bubbles over their heads in the main Interface) and for fulfilling levels of their current Aspiration.

All these traits can be added or removed at will through the use of Cheat Codes. Please see the cheat codes page for more information.

Satisfaction Reward Traits

Reward traits can be paired with anything, even if something seems like it wouldn't make sense, such as buying Speed Cleaner for a Sim who already has Slob. Still, even that specific combination can make sense; maybe that Slob hates cleaning so much that they'll do it twice as fast just to get it over with.

Always Welcome

Costs 500 SP. These Sims can act without restriction in others' homes, such as taking showers or raiding their host's fridge, without drawing the anger of the hosts.

Antiseptic

Costs 3000 SP. This slows the decay of the Hygiene need, though it doesn't prevent it. Working out will still heavily decay Hygiene unless also paired with Gym Rat.

Beguiling

Costs 2500 SP. These Sims can trigger the Flirty Emotion in other Sims pretty much from merely talking to them.

Carefree

Costs 3000 SP. These Sims will never trigger the Tense Emotion.

Cold Acclimation

Costs 500 SP. Reduces the power of the debuff for your Sim being out in cold weather, but cannot prevent death during serious freezing temperatures. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Connections

Costs 3000 SP. These Sims will start all conventional careers a few levels forward instead of at Level 1.

Creative Visionary

Costs 2000 SP. These Sims have a higher chance of creating a Masterpiece work of visual or written art.

Entrepreneurial

Costs 2000 SP. These Sims have a higher chance of being promoted in conventional careers. Note that doesn't mean the Sim can ignore the requirements for promotion; it just means promotion is more likely with less than optimal progress.

Fertile

Costs 3000 SP. These Sims are more likely to conceive, and are more likely to have twins. If two Sims are both Fertile, this highly increases the chance of triplets.

Forever Fresh

Costs 8000 SP. Completely freezes the Hygeine meter decay, though the Sim can still get dirty from being burned or electrocuted.

Forever Full

Costs 10,000 SP. Completely freezes the Hunger meter decay.

Free Services

Costs 1500 SP. These Sims can purchase all one-time services from the phone without spending money.

Frugal

Costs 2000 SP. This permanently reduces the bill amounts for the household.

Great Kisser

Costs 3000 SP. This increases the impact and success rate of all kisses. These Sims gain Charisma Skill from any successful kiss as well.

Great Storyteller

Costs 500 SP. This increases the chance of success and the relationship value gain whenever the Sim uses any "Tell (Whatever) Story" social interaction.

Gym Rat

Costs 500 SP. These Sims gain their Fun need while exercising, and will not lose Hygiene from exercising.

Hardly Hungry

Costs 4000 SP. This significantly slows the decay rate of the Hunger need.

Heat Acclimation

Costs 500 SP. Reduces the power of the debuff for your Sim being out in hot weather, but cannot prevent death during a serious heatwave. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Heatproof

Costs 2000 SP. Completely negates the debuff for your Sim being out in hot weather including heatwaves, and even draws a buff when they are. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Iceproof

Costs 2000 SP. Completely negates the debuff for your Sim being out in cold weather including freezing temperatures, and even draws a buff when they are. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Incredibly Friendly

Costs 2000 SP. This Sim starts with a significant relationship boost when introducing themselves to someone new.

Independent

Costs 2000 SP. This slows the decay of the Social need.

Marketable

Costs 1500 SP. This increases the value (though not the base quality) of all objects that these Sims create.

Mentor

Costs 1000 SP. These Sims unlock the Mentor social interaction once they reach Level 10 of certain skills. Then, they can use the Mentor interaction on other Sims to improve their gain rates in those skills. Incredibly useful for Generation 1 Sims who want to pass on their knowledge to their children.

Morning Sim

Costs 1000 SP. These Sims get a bonus to their skill gain rates in the morning.

Needs No One

Costs 5000 SP. Completely freezes the decay of the Social Meter and prevents acquisition of any debuffs associated with loneliness.

Never Weary

Costs 10,000 SP. Completely freezes the decay of the Energy Meter, thus allowing the Sim to stay awake indefinitely. (Note: a trait with this same name used to have a lesser effect prior to a patch issued around the release of the Seasons Expansion Pack.)

Night Owl

Costs 1000 SP. These Sims get a bonus to their skill gain rates at night.

Observant

Costs 2000 SP. These Sims automatically and immediately learn all the core traits of any Sim upon introduction, rather than needing to use the Get To Know social interaction.

Professional Slacker

Costs 4000 SP. These Sims will never be demoted or fired regardless of their job strategy.

Savant

Costs 4000 SP. These Sims gain all skills faster. This trait is stackable with Quick Learner, and such a Sim would gain even high levels of skills incredibly fast. It's highly recommended to pair this one with the Renaissance Sim Aspiration.

Seldom Sleepy

Costs 4000 SP. Greatly slows the decay rate of the Energy meter, allowing the Sim to stay awake longer. (Note: This trait used to be known as Never Weary but was renamed in a patch issued prior to the release of the Seasons Expansion Pack.)

Shameless

Costs 2000 SP. These Sims will never trigger the Embarrassed Emotion under any circ*mstance.

Speed Cleaner

Costs 500 SP. These Sims clean everything about twice as fast.

Speed Reader

Costs 1000 SP. These Sims read all books twice as fast.

advertisem*nt

Steel Bladder

Costs 2000 SP. These Sims almost never need to use a bathroom, but it does not fully freeze the Bladder need.

Storm Chaser

Costs 1000 SP. Sim draws a buff while being outside during a thunderstorm and may even draw an additional buff when struck by lightning. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Stoves and Grills Master

Costs 1500 SP. Significantly increases the quality of any meals made from any grill and prevents fires from being started from them.

Super Green Thumb

Costs 4000 SP. These Sims always grow vibrant plants.

Waterproof

Costs 500 SP. Sim does not get wet during rain, thus negating any associated debuff, regardless of whether the Sim has an umbrella. The Sim is still at risk of being struck by lightning in a thunderstorm. Requires the Seasons Expansion Pack.

Reward Potions

Reward Potions are significantly cheaper than traits, but they're all one-time-use items. Generally used for emergencies only, potions are definitely less useful for your Sims than traits in the long-term, but the Emotion potions can be used to help Sims push their Skill gain rates to get you over a hump.

advertisem*nt

The best part of about the potions is that they are kept in your Sim's inventory. Drinking them requires a short animation, but otherwise, they can be bought and saved for when you need them. A good strategy would be to buy a potion that triggers an emotion that helps a particular skill, then save it for when the Sim is off work or on vacation. This way they can maximize their gains in minimal time.

Confident Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Confidence emotion.

Energized Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Energized emotion.

Flirty Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Flirty emotion.

Focused Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Focused emotion.

Happy Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Happy emotion, but it may be altered by any other emotion-based buff currently on the Sim. Even if the exact emotion is altered, however, this will absolutely pull a Sim out of any negative state.

advertisem*nt

Inspired Potion

Costs 200 SP. Triggers a high-level Inspired emotion.

Insta-Large

Costs 750 SP. Immediately causes the Sim to maximize their fatness.

Insta-Lean

Moodlet Solver

Costs 500 SP. Instantly removes all negative moodlets, but leaves the positive ones.

advertisem*nt

Costs 1500 SP. Resets your Sim's life span of their current Life Stage. Does not reverse their life stage to the previous one.

Re-Traiting Potion

Costs 5000 SP. Allows you to again choose your Sim's three natural Traits. Rewarded traits remain attached to your Sim.

Sleep Replacement

Costs 400 SP. Immediately fills the Energy meter.
