To access Skyward Family access, please visit www.lisd.net and click the FAMILIES tab to select Skyward Family Access from under Services.

Forgotten Login/Password

If you have forgotten your Skyward Family Access login or password, please click here and follow the prompts.

If you have tried both of the recovery methods above and cannot log in to your Skyward Family Access account, for security reasons, you will need to visit your campus office to regain your account access.

Account Locked

If you have received a message that your Skyward Family Access account is locked, you will need to either:

  • Call the Help Desk at 972-350-1833, Option 1 between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm on school days.
  • Enter a support ticket.

Note

Parent controls for next year students will not activate until the new school year begins.

Want to Update Preferences?

After logging into Skyward Family Access, select My Account to change your username, password, contact information, language and notification preferences.

Need to Access Forms?

Although students are automatically enrolled from year to year, parents need to review and/or fill out forms each year.

After logging into Skyward Family Access, chose the Back to School Forms link. Follow the instructions as you complete each form and mark them as such. On the final step, make sure that all forms are marked “completed” before submitting them to the district.

If changes have been made after submission, please mark the form “completed” again and resubmit the Forms Packet.

Occasionally throughout the year, individual online forms may be available. Examples of this are the District Transfer Request form and VLA Course Request forms.

Enrolling a New Student?

After logging into Skyward Family Access, click on New Student Online Enrollment. Fill out the application and submit it to the district.

Note

Your address and other family information pulls from the LISD existing records. Please contact the campus to make updates if needed.

Want to Access Grades?

After logging into Skyward Family Access, select the Gradebook link from the menu. Once the screen loads, you can click on the Display Options button next to the student name and select the Show Assignments option to view individual assignment grades.

Anything blue text can be clicked on to reveal more information.

  1. You can click a blue grade to see summarized information for assignment scores.
  2. To view teacher comments for an assignment, click the blue assignment title followed by the blue comment bubble (next to the grade) in the Assignment Details pop-up. Not all assignments will contain comments.

Need Report Cards or Transcripts?

After logging into Skyward Family Access, click the Portfolio link. A PDF file will be generated when you select a report. You can choose to view and/or print the PDF file.

How to drop the lowest grade in Skyward? ›

Dropping the Lowest Score

Click Options and Tools from the Menu at the left. 2. Choose Advanced Drop Lowest Score. This will give you more choices.

What is EX1 in Skyward? ›

GRADING PERIOD LEGEND FOR SKYWARD: (Found on top of grade columns. Always set categories first, then assignments) 1P1 = Progress Report 1 for 1st 9 weeks; 1P2 = Progress Report 2; 19T = 1st 9 weeks; EX1 = Final Exam Fall 1; FA1 = FALL 1st Semester Grade.

What does SE1 mean on Skyward? ›

SE1 or SE2 are semester exam grades. S1 or S2 are semester averages.

How do you look at your GPA on Skyward? ›

There are 6 grading cycles in the year. So, you'll see Cycles 1-3 in the fall semester and 4-6 in the spring semester. To find class rank and GPA, simply click on the “GPA/Class Rank” tab. You will get a pop up window that will display the information you're looking for.

What does 0 and * mean in Skyward? ›

If an assignment receives a zero and the missing flag is not set, that means the student scored a zero for the assignment. If an assignment has an asterisk as a grade, that means the teacher is in the process of grading and there is no action needed from the student.

What does C1 mean in Skyward? ›

See below: PR1 & PR2 terms report a student's progress leading up to Cycle 1 (C1). Cycle 1 is The First Nine Weeks Average or Term.

What does n mean in Skyward? ›

The “N” grade means “no credit” and is the district's replacement for “F” grades.

What does "s" mean in grades? ›

An S/U grade stands for satisfactory or unsatisfactory. A grade of S (satisfactory) shall be equivalent to grades A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, and C-. A grade of U (unsatisfactory) shall be equivalent to grades D+, D, D-, or F.

What does e mean in grades? ›

E grade (Unofficial Withdrawal) – An “E” grade can only be assigned to a student who ceases to attend a course prior to sixty percent (60 %) of the duration of the semester, and fails to officially withdraw from that course.

What does P4 mean in Skyward? ›

Use the student's current year grade (i.e. P4 for kindergarten). Skyward automatically figures the grade level by the student's birthdate.

What does C mean in Skyward Attendance? ›

C – Extra Curricular –Indicates the student was absent due to attending a school- sponsored activity of some kind (field trip, athletic event, academic event, etc.)
