His Second Collaboration with Angels & Outlaws Label Songstress Caitlynne Curtis
Nashville rapper Struggle Jennings, grandson ofoutlaw country icon Waylon Jennings, has released a timely music video for his second singlewith Angels & Outlaws artist Caitlynne Curtis. “God We Need You Now” makes a strongstatement that cuts through the noise of the constant barrage of breaking news as a calling toreturn to the values that bring people together, God and community. The simple gospel rhythmand Caitlynne’s powerful vocals drive the message home delivering the desperation that hasfilled the hearts of many during a year of persistent negativity. “God We Need You Now” is acathartic anthem for the world we live in, delivering on Struggle’s self-professed image as “thetroubadour of troubled souls”.
The music video was directed by Alisa Daglio and filmed by Vicente Cordero (Los Angeles) inNashville and Hendersonville, TN. It features appearances by Yelawolf and Brianna Harnessalongside Struggle and Caitlynne as well as a diverse set of family and friends. “God We NeedYou Now” will be exclusively available to watch on YouTube until it is released to streaming anddownload platforms on September 14, 2020.
Struggle Jennings carries the legacy of the Jennings family outlaw roots along with the weight ofhis true outlaw past with ease.
