SkyBlock Time is one of the time systems used on SkyBlock. It is a one-timezone system and is used on Hypixel SkyBlock servers. The time is displayed on the message board on the right when the player is logged onto SkyBlock.
Earth Time, sometimes known as Real Life Time, is the date and time system used on Earth. It consists of multiple timezones. For a specific timezone, for example UTC, the time system can be known as "UTC Time".
Hypixel Server Time is the local Earth Time of Hypixel's game servers, which observe Eastern Time. It is another time system used on Hypixel SkyBlock servers.

SkyBlock Time[]
Time Measurement[]
Time measurement in SkyBlock is colloquially known as "SkyBlock <duration unit>", for example "SkyBlock Day". It is different from time measurement on Earth.
Similarly, time measurement on Earth is colloquially known as "Earth <duration unit>", for example "Earth Day". The measurements of duration in Earth's time system does not differ in different timezones.

Relationship with Earth's Time[]
Since a SkyBlock Year lasts for 5 Days and 4 Hours, a certain SkyBlock date can cycle through 6 different Earth Times, each 4 hours apart. This leads to events suitable for different timezones at different occurrences.
- On Main Server
- The SkyBlock Epoch, time of the beginning of SkyBlock, is defined to be 1st ofEarly Spring, Year 1 at 00:00, which converts to Jun 11, 2019 at 17:55:00 (UTC), or unix time of 1560275700.
- All SkyBlock days start at either :55, :15 or :35 in Real Life Time. (:MM represents the minute in Real Life Time)
- On Alpha Network

AE is a year notation used in Skyblock's Dungeon Journals, it stands for Ancient Era. However we do not know what year it is now in this system, nor what happened in year 0.

| The Expedition | Expedition featuring namely Sadan, Solomon and General Dan is sent to The Catacombs. Hypixel Server Time is the local Earth Time of Hypixel's game servers. Hypixel Inc. is a Canadian company[1]. Part of the Earth time-based mechanics in SkyBlock is based on this time system.
The Hypixel Server Time observes Eastern Standard Time, which is 5 hours behind UTC.
Occurrences based on Hypixel Server Time[]
Some occurrences in SkyBlock are based on Hypixel Server Time. The following are some examples:
- The Fetchur item resets daily at 00:00 AM in Hypixel Server Time.
- The calculation of Kuudra Follower Helmet Donation Cost uses Day of the Year in Hypixel Server Time.
- When Advent Calendar was available, the rewards for each day were made available at 00:00 AM in Hypixel Server Time.
Trivia[]
- During Thorn's bossfight, the crowd mentions the year 2020.
- On 9 April 2024, the Alpha server had a different time offset from what it previously had, presumably because the content being tested was only available during the first quarter of each SkyBlock year (spring). It was modified to be exactly 210 SkyBlock days (70 hours) ahead of the regular server, and the server was opened to the public around the start of Early Spring 2, Year 343. The time offset was later changed on an unknown date (June 10, 2024 at the latest) to match the main server exactly.
