The clubs were plentiful, and I felt that everyone could find one where they fit in, and if not, they could create their own. The sports teams were competitive and fun to support and go watch games. The building itself could use a renovation, as we still have classes in the 1-year temporary trailers after being open since 2006 (18 years). The student population is not very diverse, but the town of Holly Springs itself is predominantly white, so this fact is not entirely surprising. Such as the K-pop club, dance class, the basketball team, etc. Winter showcases were the best too! My orchestra class would play a piece in front of all high schoolers (middle schoolers had their own winter showcase). DSA was a school of diversity and held a variety of arts. My worst experience at DSA was seventh grade when a gas leak explosion occurred next to the middle school building on April 10, 2019.
