Is it hard to cancel a Chuze membership? ›

The easiest option is to cancel online via our billing portal, myiclubonline.com. Or you can access the portal directly via the Chuze Fitness app after clicking "my account". Chuze Fitness General Information

The company owns a network of franchised fitness centers throughout Southern California and Arizona that offers zumba toning, kickboxing, yoga classes, tanning, hydro massage, fitness boot camps and personal training services.

Your gym should let you cancel your contract if you've had a change in circ*mstances that means you can't afford the monthly payments. It would have to be something significant, eg you've lost your job or suddenly found yourself in a lot of debt. You'll need evidence to prove this to your gym.

Some employees might promise more lenient policies than are written in the contract. Not moving, sick, or unemployed? It's likely you can cancel without paying. Most gyms include a clause that allows you to cancel if they stop offering all the services listed in the contract.

You may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee if you have a 12-month agreement and do not fulfill that agreement.

A number of landlords and building contractors had filed writs with the High Court for debts owed to them. A petition to wind up the company was lodged with the court in early July 2016, and creditors including prepaid members and staff have been coming forward.
