How hard is The Evil Within 2 Classic mode? ›

Classic is the hardest difficulty in the game and it feautres many challenging obstacles to overcome. There are no autosaves and you are only allowed to save your game 7 times. If you die you revert back to your previous save. Enemies are tougher and more abundant.

Shinji Mikami recommends novice players to start with Casual Difficulty if he/she is new to TEW II. Once you learn basic game mechanics, you should consider Survival Difficulty.

Clearing the game on Classic difficulty and starting a New Game+ from that save unlocks the option for having Infinite Ammo for any of Sebastian's weapons. This disables reloading and the ammo counter entirely, allowing for unlimited use of any weapon.

Turn right and duck under the barbed wire, following the velvet rope until you find a gap in it behind the subject in the center of the room. Enter the time distortion from behind it and investigate it to have Sebastian destroy it. This will destroy the artwork and send Sebastian back to Devil's Own Taproom.

Its combination of power and spread make it the most useful weapon in the game. This is especially true early on, when your aim is unsteady and enemies far outnumber your shells.

That being said, the Sniper Rifle has its fair share of drawbacks, namely its rather limited ammo capacity and very expensive ammo crafting costs even when on-bench. It also has quite a kick to it, which makes it hard to stay on track if the target survived the initial shot and are recovering.

How to beat the Guardian Evil within 2? ›

Strategy. The Warden Crossbow's Shock Bolts are effective at stunning the Guardian, as it can be shocked for extended periods of time compared to most enemies. If fully-upgraded, Explosive Bolts could also work, as the Guardian has multiple body parts for the shrapnel to embed into and deal extra damage.

Exit D5. After escaping The Watcher, take a left in the new area and follow the markings on the wall to Exit D5. As you make your way down the hallway, you will find a door locked by a waveform lock.

悪夢 -AKUMU- (lit. "Nightmare") is the absolute worst The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2 has to offer. While the basics are identical to Nightmare, AKUMU itself has one big twist: taking any damage at all kills Sebastian instantly, regardless of health upgrades.

Choose Hardcore Mode for the truest and most intense experience of Resident Evil 2 Remake. It's the best way to fully immerse yourself in this survival horror classic. Sneak past Lickers to avoid instant death on Hardcore. Walking instead of sprinting is crucial to avoid getting caught by these fast and deadly enemies.

Classic Mode is the same difficulty as Nightmare, but this time around there are no autosaves or checkpoints, and you are given only seven manual saves to use throughout your entire Classic Mode playthrough.
