At Labcorp, we reflect on what this important day means and how it is connected to the humanity of those we serve. We celebrate Black patients, customers, physicians, hospitals, health systems, partners, service providers and employees, and express our gratitude for your contributions to healthcare and the communities we serve. #Juneteenth

That's not actually the story, but thank you for the sentiment. Texas did not adhere to the emancipation two years prior and had tried to secede from the union in order to retain slavery in Texas. Prior to the emancipation, after the Civil War, slaves were self emancipation, too. Pity that we all never learned this is school. #BlackHistoryIsAmericanHistory

This event impacts certain Labcorp business systems, including results delivery to physicians and patients. Currently, this is not considered to be a cyber event and is due to a CrowdStrike software update. We are working to restore full services as soon as possible.
