Shoot Myra in the glowing spot in her abdomen to damage her. If you run low on ammo, destroy some of the petrified Lost around the area, which will drop bullets. After you destroy Myra's weak spot, a bunch of spiders will spring forth from it. Stomp them to have them drop ammo and crafting materials.

Myra has a few phases, but your goal in each of them is the same: Shoot the glowing orange part. You can see each of her glowing bits in the gallery above. At the beginning of the fight, shoot her stomach. In the next phase, shoot her shoulders.
How to defeat Stefano in The Evil Within 2? ›
Shoot the floor with a bolt, and stand between Stefano and the bolt. He'll charge right into your trap. You can fire multiple explosive bolts in the same area, so that when Stefano walks by and detonates one, both explode and he takes twice the damage.

i don't think you can fight her one on one, you can only avoid her by using stealth. yeah, that's what I do, perhaps there is a way to confront her in the later chapters? I just want to get rid of her once and for all, her voice is so annoying. There's no way to "kill" her.

The best you can do is aim for the head or stun him by blowing out the tank on Liam's back. You can also try and take him down with stealth attacks (if you have the patience for that). After Liam is defeated, you'll get his flamethrower.
How do you escape Ruvik? ›
At some point, the whole area will turn blue and Ruvik will appear. The time at which this happens seems to be random. When it does, you simply need to run around for 30 seconds to a minute, dodging him. He will eventually give up and disappear.
OBJECTIVE: SAVE THE WOMAN
Fire a Flash Bolt at it to blind him and he'll drop the woman. Go in for the Sneak Kill. With the woman saved and freed, she runs and hides inside another small shack further up from the bonfire, so follow her and eventually she will disappear, leaving some Green Gel behind for you.

Just lure them with a bottle or wait for them to randomly shoot their flamethrower. You can sneak behind them and stealth attack them. This does a ton of damage. Two of these attacks and some bullets to the face will kill em.
