Amatsu are beautiful, graceful elder dragons closely related to monsters of the leviathan class. They are fierce predators that descend from the clouds to feed on kelbi, gargwa, aptonoth and other herbivores, using their many sharp teeth to make short work of prey. They dont actually create the storms they're famous for they simply follow the storms as the gale force winds enable the beast to swim through the clouds on its massive, shining fins. Sadly these magnificent animals have been hunted to near extinction as many parts of them from their shimmering scales to their silk-like fins and golden horns are used to make all sorts of fine clothing and ornamentation so hunting by the guild of these powerful elder dragons is seldom permitted and when it is it is strictly monitored.
