Fortnite has gone through some very different eras with various ups and downs.
WithFortnite Origins, its most recent season, it has been able to recover part of its hegemony, although it doesn't have much time left.
That's why today I wanted to explain to you when the Fortnite Origins season ends along with everything you might need to know about it before it leaves us for good.
When does Fortnite Origins end?
According to Epic Games, the official date on which Fortnite Origins will end is Saturday, December 2, so at the time of writing there's just over a weekend left.
More specifically, the season will end at 22:00 ET, so we're looking at its final hours of life.
What we know about the future
At the moment there is not much information about it, although the first leaks have already emerged. As revealed by Shiina, one of the best-known leakers in the Fortnite world, one of the main new features will be its new map.
Also, taking this into account, the next season would have to start on Sunday, December 3 (or Monday, December 4) along with this new map. This would usher in a new season and chapter of Epic's battle-royale.
However, it is possible that this date - speculative - is not entirely accurate, as it is true that Fortnite tends to have a lot of Christmas events. This could mean that the new season will be delayed until early to mid-January and that, until then, we will "only" have a Christmas-themed map along with special missions and events.
When and what time the Fortnite OG season ends
To conclude, it is important to note that on Saturday, December 2, at around 14:00, a final Fortnite event will take place.
Through this we should once again encounter the black hole that has generated so much debate and commentary over the last few seasons, with this being the one that brings the season to an end and marks the beginning of the next.
Its official description reads: "The Big Bang is a Fortnite event that will begin on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 14:00 ET. The experience will be available 30 minutes before in the Battle Royale box in Discover. You will then be able to access it before the event starts to equip your cosmetic items".
What is Fortnite next season when it'll start?
The Big Bang Event is the next season for the game and it's expected to start right after the OG season ends.
This new event it's marked to be a complete "new begining" for the game and will feature the rapper Eminem who will be singing right when it starts.
