Talismans act as a single accessory you can equip in Monster Hunter Rise. This page covers how to get charms and talismans, which are needed to upgrade Armor Skills.
Talismans
The only way to craft a Talisman is to visit the market and make use of the melding pot. The option to craft Talismans will unlock as you progress through the story. Each Talisman grants your hunter a skill (or two) when it's equipped. You can see the list of available Skills when choosing a Talisman to craft.

Once you've selected the Talisman you wish to craft, you'll be shown a menu that allows you to select the materials you wish to use to craft the Talisman. The value of the materials and how many you own are shown.
Select the number of materials from your items to match the value required to craft your Talisman. You'll then need to wait for the Talismans to be created. You can also queue up the creation of multiple Talismans at any time, but they'll only be made one at a time.
How to Craft the Best Talismans
There are multiple methods to meld talismans. If there's a specific skill you want and Moonbow Melding offers it, go for it, but otherwise, you want to choose Wisp of Mystery.
Though you won't know which skills you'll get, Wisp of Mystery produces Talismans with rarer skills unavailable through the other methods, and will also produce Talismans with more levels overall.
Here's how to farm materials to turn in to meld Talismans:
- Friend Vouchers are worth a decent amount and accrue just by playing Monster Hunter Rise with friends!
- Narwa materials are worth a lot, and you don't need much of her materials for anything else. If you can defeat her fast enough, this is the easiest way to farm high-value materials to trade for talismans.
- Defender Tickets are only good for melding Talismans and crafting Rampage weapons - use these to meld if you're done crafting the Rampage weapons you want. You don't have to fight Apex Rampages to get a lot of these, either, and getting S+ rank will increase the amount you get. See our Rampage Guide - How to S+ Rank
