The Quarry tells the story of how nine protagonists are trying their hardest to survive one long night at Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp, and one of them is Ryan Erzahler. He’s the Sailing Coach that’s described as inquisitive, stoic, and charming. Additionally, many characters find him handsome, as both Dylan and Kaitlyn have a crush on him.
In The Quarry, players can control Ryan from chapters one to nine. Surprisingly, Ryan is put in a life or death situation only in the last two chapters, and players’ choices will determine his fate.

How To Save Ryan In The Quarry
Although Ryan’s life is at stake in the last two chapters, he also faces constant various dangerous situations, alone or with others, throughout the whole night in The Quarry.
Chapter 9: Accept Bite And Shoot Chris Hackett
After Laura is caught eavesdropping on Constance and Travis’s conversation in chapter nine, Bobby will stab Ryan regardless of what people choose. This means that while playing as Laura, shooting Constance or leaving her be yields the same results.
Upon running away, players must not PULL KNIFE out of Ryan’s body as he’ll die from blood loss, and the knife can be used later as a weapon.
After that, he finds himself in Jedediah's and Constance’s bedroom where he can collect Clues, Tarot Cards, and most importantly, Kaylee’s confession letter, which is considered Evidence.
Make sure to check the empty cabinet before interacting with the locked door across it. When Ryan realizes that Bobby is heading toward him, quickly pick HIDE then choose IN CABINET and Hold Breath until it’s safe.
Next, complete the QTE to block the door and move to the next room where there’s a hole in the wall that Ryan can fit into. Finish another set of QTEs then Hold Breath again and only release it when Bobby goes away.
If all is done correctly, Ryan enters an empty room and falls to the ground in pain, Bobby will then appear. Here, players can use the knife to STAB Bobby. A while after, Laura jumps into the room, scaring the hunter away.
After the two chat for a bit, Laura suggests biting Ryan to heal his wound. People need to ACCEPT the bite; otherwise, Ryan will die from blood loss later on in the chapter.
Finally, while Chris is fighting Bobby, Laura transforms and attacks Travis. At this moment, Ryan needs to SHOOT Chris using the discarded shotgun he picked up. When the fight is over, Travis, Laura, and Ryan will go search for Silas. Keep in mind that if Ryan dies, both Travis and Laura won’t work together as Ryan is the only one who knows Silas’s whereabouts.
Chapter 10: Shoot Silas
While in the car and playing as Laura, make sure to TAKE WHEEL and do the QTEs when Silas attacks or Ryan dies.
Upon leaving the vehicle, if Ryan managed to shoot Bobby in chapter three while trying to save Nick, the hunter drops a vial of blood which Ryan offers to Laura. To make Ryan undetected, players need to decline the vial by picking GIVE TO RYAN.
After finding Silas curled in his cage, RAISE GUN and shoot the White Wolf to cure everyone. If failed, the werewolf would kill everyone but spare Ryan because of the blood.
