The Dulles Toll Road has converted to an all-electronic and cashless payment system. Pay-by-plate will replace the cash payment option. Motorists who don't pay tolls electronically will be identified by their vehicle license plate and receive an invoice to their registered address.

Smartphone applicationsfrom private companies offer another way to pay. Examples includeGoToll, Slora, Uproad and NextPass.The license plate on the vehicle you're driving must match the one listed on the electronic payment.Users can expect to incur fees set by the companies in addition to toll payment.

Missed paying a toll?
Drivers who are unable to pay a toll while driving on the Dulles Toll Road have up to six days to proactively pay online. To pay a missed toll violation, visit the E-Z PassCustomer Service Center missed toll information page, select the Dulles Toll Road and follow the on-screen prompts for payment.
